Spencer

Spencer Shiffman has been a wonderful inspiration to Gillis participants in his 10 year battle with cancer. He has been attending the Gillis for over 17 years and was a Showtime hit and held the true spirit of the Gillis. He has given us wonderful words of encouragement from his lofty perch upon the throne of King Gillis each year, since he was named King in 1996. He was just recently named City of Hope’s Man of the Year and has raised well over $800,000 for cancer research over these past few years.
